The key objective of Aon’s Credit Solutions team is to help clients make better decisions, for sustainable growth. Each team member is a critical component of our overall ability to provide our clients with better insights and ensure that they are better advised every day. Our global client standards, tools, and market footprint all come to life when these are effectively leveraged by our teams for enhanced client value.

In this context, we place the utmost importance on successfully developing and attracting industry talent across our geographies. This goal is continuously pursued by our strong leadership team at a central, regional and country level.

Continuous development of our people

Aon’s Credit Solutions delivers a tailored global training plan to team members, which is designed to help support our people provide superior value to our clients.

The training modules are designed to drive our teams to deliver our advisory methodology and help navigate volatility. Modules are run by recognized external training companies and internal subject matter experts.

Over 180 employees across 60+ countries participated in the training over the last 12 months only and sessions continue to take place on an ongoing basis.

From an ongoing subject matter perspective, the key elements of training include: i) claims advocacy, ii) funded solutions, iii) coverage solution innovations, iv) digitalization, and v) excess line arrangements.

A specific benefit of this framework is the support it provides to identifying key talent and enabling clearer career paths to be established where needed, with colleagues taking on new positions as their expertise and experience develop.

Aline Dalindo Mendonca

Regional Director

LatAm

Experience Aline owned an insurance broking operation specialized in Trade Credit in Brazil from 2018 to 2021, developing the culture of the product across the country with more than 130 clients.

Aline worked as Trade Credit Leader with responsibility for developing the use of the product in LatAm, focusing on servicing large companies.

Aline brings over 15 years of experience in trade credit insurance for corporates, financial institutions, CRA and Structured Trade Finance, with leadership, commercial and technical skills for structured programs.

Passion Aline’s personal passion is her family, especially her two little boys, Pedro 6 and Gabriel 3 years old with any free time left she is in the garden.

Zbigniew Brzozowiec Managing Director

Poland

Experience Zbigniew has over 15 years of experience in the Poland trade credit market. He started his career with Atradius where he held various roles in client servicing and team management roles during his 10+ year tenure.

Prior to joining Aon, Zbigniew led the Willis Towers Watson trade credit operation in Poland.

Zbigniew has experience in structuring trade credit, political risk and surety for clients both domestically and globally.

Passion

Zbigniew’s winter passion is skiing, while in summer he loves riding his motorcycle.

Gilles Robert

Head of Trade Credit Insurance & Financing France

Experience

Gilles joined Aon in November 2021 as Director of the Credit Insurance and Financing Department. 

From 2017 to 2021, Gilles worked at Euler Hermes as Head of Business Development and then as Head of Broker Management. 

Prior to that, he used to be an Account Manager at Atradius and factoring companies. Gilles has a Masters from the ESC Toulouse business school and has more than 15 years of experience in sales as well as credit insurance placement negotiation and management.

Passion

Gilles has a passion for the great outdoors, which he developed at a young age. This has always stayed with him, and he now competes in triathlons. 

Carley Chaplin Branch Director - Leeds

United Kingdom

Experience Carley has spent over 20 years working in the financial sector specializing in Credit Insurance with extensive experience in company direction, risk management and B2B sales.

Carley started her insurance career at IRC/RKH/Howden and more recently moved to DR&P to set up their specialist credit division. This has consisted of everything from account handling to account management, sales & marketing, team management and strategy in Credit as well as Corporate/Commercial. Carley has also consulted client-side with general director duties across Operations, Finance & HR.

Passion

Carley enjoys spending time with her family and keeping fit by going to the gym.

Nils Wulff

Credit and Funded Solutions Developer

Germany

Experience

Prior to joining Aon, Nils worked at Coface for the last 8 years, most recently as Regional Manager in Trade Receivables Finance. Besides factoring, Nils was also responsible for overall commercial activities for trade credit insurance. Nils started his career as an assistant tax consultant and studied economics afterwards.

After graduating, Nils first worked for a management consultancy for 3 years before entering the trade credit insurance and factoring markets.

Nils is an experienced financing expert and has a great track record of providing tailored solutions to clients.

Passion

Nils loves to travel. He also enjoys jogging and going to the gym to recharge his batteries.

Daniel Bensaid Credit and Funded Solutions

France

Experience Daniel Bensaid joined Aon in November 2021 as Business Developer for our funded solutions, credit insurance and bonding offers.

After a degree in accounting and business management, he joined Natixis Factor in 1996 as an Account Manager, and Eurofactor in 2001 (a subsidiary of Crédit Lyonnais and SFAC). A leader in the factoring market, Eurofactor became Crédit Agricole Leasing & Factoring in 2010.

Daniel has more than 25 years of experience in Corporate Finance.

Passion

Daniel is passionate about motor sports and is a keen car enthusiast.

Lloyd McTigue

Head of Client Partner Group

EMEA and UK

Experience Lloyd joins us from Howden Insurance Broking Group where he was Head of their International Trade Credit division. Lloyd has over 20 years of credit and risk experience, from both a broking and corporate client perspective. Prior to Howden, he held the position of General Manager, Global Credit Risk Management for Sony, where he was responsible for creating their global credit risk strategies.

Lloyd joining Aon further strengthens our capability and focus around Global Clients; he will work closely with our strike team as well as wider colleagues engaging with global clients.

Passion

Lloyd’s personal passion lies with his young family, and enjoys watching his three boys play football at the weekend to support their love for the game.

Victor Agius Technical Wording Director

Global

Experience Victor joins us from Euler Hermes World Agency where he was the lead wordings specialist and expert. From his 25 years in the industry, Victor has deep experience in structuring deals and drafting policy wordings and is recognized in the market for his work around creating credit insurance policies that are used by banks for capital relief.

Victor joining Aon is part of our global strategy to further strengthen our proposition and key differentiation in credit capability, especially in respect of Financial Institutions capital relief credit solutions.

Passion

Victor enjoys travelling with his family and experiencing different cultures, food and the diversity of different countries around the world.

We have asked two of our new team members, Lloyd McTigue and Aline Dalindo Mendonca, to share their thoughts on joining Aon.

When seeking a new credit solutions business organization what was your number one consideration?

Aline: The incredible connection as a global solution.

Lloyd: The people. I strongly believe what we do is about relationships, and the most important tool in the box has to be the people.

Where would you like to see Aon invest next and why?

Aline: Continue to grow our LatAm business, through investment in talent.

Lloyd: I think all brokers will need to pursue further investment in automation to ensure we stay ahead of the curve.

Aline: I have experienced other multinational brokers including my own broker specialized in Credit Solutions and Aon shone in my eyes due to its reach, market reputation and focus on the product.

Lloyd: The team first and foremost, Aon’s global capabilities, and being part of a group that is continually looking to improve and make the right investments.

How have you found your first 30 days?

Aline: Very exciting and with a lot of ideas to put in place to the continuous growth.

Lloyd: I have found it refreshing to see how joined up the global team is with everyone pulling in the same direction.
